Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Introduction

Drectly ("we", "our", or "us") operates the platform available at drectly.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Name and email address

Job title and company information

Password (stored encrypted)

Information from third-party services:

When you connect your Google account, we access your Google Calendar to read your availability and create interview events. We only access calendar data necessary for scheduling interviews.

Automatically collected:

Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

Cookies for session management

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the Drectly platform

Schedule and manage job interviews via Google Calendar

Send notifications related to hiring activities (new candidates, interview requests, status updates)

Communicate service-related updates

Google Calendar data obtained through Google APIs is used solely to display your availability and create interview calendar events. This data is not used for advertising, is not sold to third parties, and is not used for any purpose other than interview scheduling.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery)

Other platform users as necessary for the hiring workflow (e.g., your name and job title visible to recruiters on your open roles)

Legal authorities if required by law

5. Google API Services

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We only request Google Calendar permissions necessary to schedule interviews

Google Calendar data is not transferred to third parties

Google Calendar data is not used for serving advertisements

We do not allow humans to read your Google Calendar data unless you have given explicit permission or it is necessary for security purposes

6. Chrome Extension (Drectly Talent Importer)

Drectly provides an optional Chrome extension, Drectly Talent Importer, that Drectly recruiters can install to import LinkedIn candidate profiles into their Drectly candidate pool.

Information the extension reads:

When a recruiter opens a LinkedIn profile and uses the extension, it reads the profile information visible on that page — name, profile photo, headline/job title, current employer, work history, education, and location, along with associated company logos. The extension only reads the LinkedIn profile the recruiter is actively viewing; it does not browse, crawl, or collect data from any other page automatically.

Information the extension stores locally:

The extension stores the recruiter's own Drectly sign-in session (access and refresh tokens) in the browser's local extension storage, so the recruiter stays signed in across LinkedIn pages without re-authenticating each time.

How this data is used:

Information read from a LinkedIn profile is sent to the recruiter's own Drectly workspace and added to their candidate pool, for the sole purpose of recruiting and sourcing candidates. This data is not used for advertising, is not sold to third parties, and is not transferred to anyone outside the recruiter's own Drectly workspace.

Who can use it:

The extension is intended for use by Drectly recruiters and requires an active Drectly account to import or view candidate data.

Data collected through the extension is subject to the same retention, security, and rights described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Google Calendar tokens are stored securely and are deleted when you disconnect your Google account from Drectly.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted storage of credentials and secure HTTPS connections.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you

Request correction of inaccurate data

Request deletion of your data

Disconnect third-party integrations (e.g., Google Calendar) at any time from your profile settings

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
